Last month 6 brave Hallidays team members ventured up into the Lancashire skies to complete a terrifying 11,000 ft. skydive in support of their charity of the year Beacon Counselling. The team would like to thank everyone who has sponsored them and are pleased to announce that the final amount of money raised was over £800!
This Saturday Hallidays team members Nigel Bennett, Managing Director; John Pope and Nichola Coles, Client Manager and Deb Cox are bringing their fundraising back down to earth. They are participating in TrekFest – a gruelling 12 hour, 27 mile trek in the Peak District. The route encompasses an impressive network of footpaths and bridleways, beginning and ending in the idyllic Hope Valley.
They too will be fundraising for Beacon Counselling which exists to improve the lives of those experiencing mental and emotional distress. Based in Stockport, they help people with issues such as depression, bereavement, anxiety, stress and relationship difficulties – problems that many of us will face at some time in our lives.
