North West based CONSTRUCTION Partnership UK (CPUK) has won a £3m contract to build a care home in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
Designed by Merseyside architect Condy Lofthouse, the new 48-bed, 2 storey home is due to be completed in just 40 weeks and has been commissioned by Manchester-based Olea Care on the site of a former Stockport Council recycling facility on Torkington Road in Hazel Grove.

Olea Care is a family business which already operates specialist care homes in the North West including Doves Nest Healthcare in Clayton Bridge, Manchester.
CPUK’s previous healthcare projects include a £600,000 14-bed extension to Brook View Nursing and Residential Centre, in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, for Bupa, and a £3.5m care home in Southport for UK dementia sufferers, operated by Altrincham-based Melton Health Care. It has now secured projects worth £25m secured for the next 12 months.

“We will be on site shortly to start work on the new care home building and the refurbishment of the existing buildings, which will be converted into administration facilities.”
