Reboot Fitness, a traditional, old-school Boxing and Fitness centre, look a cut above following Dawn Creative’s hands-on rebrand project.
Cheadle Hulme based Dawn Creative have given a local fitness centre a new look placing them at the heart of the local community. The team at Reboot take pride in their ambition to help and serve the community through exercise and teamwork. It was important that their new image and look both reflected and showcased this ambition.
Fighting fit
Dawn’s managing director David O’Hearn explains the brief: “Reboot are a great team of enthusiastic experts but their branding lacked consistency across such as their social pages, signage and way-finding.
“We were approached to create a cohesive new brand that would embody their community spirit. Inspired by the distinctive raw character of the gym, we celebrated these materials and textures by creating a unique identity system and custom typography.”
Community Crest
After creating the full alphabet and corresponding glyphs, Dawn went on to design their logo using the same techniques. The bespoke letter ‘E’ represents the concept of progression, strength and power, while the crest commemorates their collective spirit and team values.
Photography with a punch
Sweat, texture and rawness make Reboot Fitness unique. Dawn commissioned talented photographer Lisa Dickinson to capture the gym in motion through dynamic visuals.
The Final Round
David added: “Sporting their new identity and branded apparel, Reboot Fitness continue to go from strength to strength, as they support and nurture an ever-growing community. A truly down-to-earth fitness hub for the neighbourhood, they wear their mark with pride.”
Dawn Creative was set up in 2014 and moved in to services offices after 6 months of trading.
The agency moved into a new studio in July and carried out a rebrand for themselves.
“Rebranding yourself is always one of the toughest projects you can do. You are always over critical, but we feel we have achieved what we set out to do, said David. “A clean, simple brand identity that has been embraced in all our printed assets and subtly applied online to ensure that the work we do for clients shines brighter than ours.”
