“We love being involved in local events. Sponsoring the Stockport Beer Festival gave us a great opportunity to both help the event and also reach out to a large audience to promote how MyShiftPlanner could help them with their shift working.
The excellent choice of ales on offer was an added benefit of course!”
Stockport Beer & Cider Festival 2017
The Festival is held each year the weekend after the late May Bank Holiday at Edgeley Park and is amongst the largest CAMRA organised festivals in the North of England.
The number of beers and ciders on offer during the festival runs into the hundreds with up to one hundred and fifty British cask and bottled conditioned beers, plus foreign bottled conditioned beers and ciders and perries on offer to tantalise the taste buds.
However, the festival is more than just a beer and cider festival – great live entertainment is available each session in the separate entertainment suite, stalls, hot and cold food and a cracking atmosphere make the festival the premier event in the Stopfordian calendar.
A selection of draught ales from around the country will be available, covering styles ranging from light summer beers, through milds and bitters to some heavy duty stouts or porters. There will be a beer to suit all tastes, tell the bar staff your preference and they will endeavour to find a beer for you.
Cider and Perry
Disgusted with the fizzy cider available in most pubs? Why not give real cider (and perry, its pear sibling) a try. Naturally fermented from only pure apple juice, these still drinks are deceptively easy drinking, but can be wickedly strong.
Sponsors of the event also include Stockport’s Robinsons Brewery and Stephensons.
