Steve Oliver, CEO at musicMagpie, comments:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have won this prestigious award for the second year running, and we’d like to thank everyone who voted for us. It means a lot to us that the general public decided the final outcome and we are delighted that so many customers think our mobile phone recycling service is the best in the business.
“Traditionally people have known us for buying CDs, DVDs and games but we are now the biggest mobile phone recycler in the UK, paying out over £50 million for tech in the past year alone, and this award is great recognition of that.”
Since its inception, Stockport HQ’d musicMagpie has nurtured its ‘lazy man’s eBay’ trade-in model by offering a fast, easy, hassle-free and environmentally friendly way to declutter and recycle tech, CDs, DVDs, books and games and raise cash instantly, with all products received paid for on the day they are received.
musicMagpie also launched its online Store to support its commitment to recycling tech, and 18 months since its launch, this platform is now one of the best places in the UK to buy fully refurbished phones and tech.
The company as a whole is also the biggest seller globally on both Amazon Marketplace and eBay. In fact, eBay recently recognised musicMagpie as their most successful seller ever after the business became the first to achieve five million positive feedbacks.
More than 70,000 independently-collected and published reviews for musicMagpie on Feefo have also earned the company a 96% overall customer excellence score, and a five-star rating on Trust Pilot and Reviews.co.uk.
