Lisa Smart, prospective parliamentary candidate for Hazel Grove, hosted a Women in Business Lunch with Jo Swinson MP, Minister for Employment Relations and Consumer Affairs in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and Minister for Women and Equalities in the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.
Experienced business woman and prospective parliamentary candidate, Lisa Smart, invited local business women to the Alma Lodge Hotel, Stockport for a Women in Business Lunch with Government Minister, Jo Swinson MP.
Lisa (pictured centre left in blue) said:
“I was so pleased to be able to bring Jo to Stockport to meet local business people and to explain more about her role in the Government. This was a fantastic opportunity to hear from Jo, to ask questions about her role in Government and to network with other local business people.”
Local employers enjoyed the opportunity to network and share ideas about apprenticeships and business opportunities in the constituency and beyond.
Lisa Smart is the Prospective Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove Constituency. The Rt Hon Sir Andrew Stunell is currently the Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove Constituency. He retires at the next General Election (May 2015) and Lisa plans to be his successor.
