Monarch, a leading low cost airline and holiday company, has launched three new routes from Manchester Airport to Porto in Portugal, Stockholm in Sweden and Zagreb in Croatia.
Monarch is the only airline to fly to the Croatian capital from Manchester Airport. Porto is the fourth destination in Portugal joining Faro, Lisbon and Madeira on the network and this will be the first time the airline has flown to the Swedish capital from Manchester Airport.
The airline will fly to Stockholm and Porto three times a week on a Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Flights to Zagreb with operate twice weekly on a Monday and Saturday.
Monarch’s Regional Ground Operations Manager Janet Tideswell was joined by Manchester Airport’s Head of Aviation Development, Robert Smith to celebrate the launch of the first flights.

Monarch will operate flights to Porto from Manchester Airport three times a week with fares, including taxes, starting from £39 one way (£67 return). Three night city break holidays start from £129 per person.
Monarch will be the only airline to fly to Zagreb from Manchester Airport twice a week. Flights to Zagreb start from £42 one way, £73 return. Two night city break holidays start from £179 per person.
