With 4 regional offices and over 250 employees, the Midshire Group of companies is a leading supplier of office technology and IT solutions to businesses across the UK. Marketing strategy has been an integral part of recent company growth and with the launch of new products and services including, IT and Desktop Monster; marketing has played a huge role in business development for Midshire.
The Midshire marketing team is the central hub for all marketing communications for the entire group. Supporting each of the 4 regional offices and employees, including a team of over 50 sales and account managers with marketing collateral, branded communications, PR and event support.
The position of Marketing Assistant, based in Stockport, is ideal for a candidate already working in a Marketing role, who is confident, articulate and looking to progress. Working in a fast paced industry, the candidate should have a keen interest in technology, social media, graphic design and be ready for new challenges. The role will be fun, varied, and at times challenging.
The new junior marketing assistant’s primary role will be maintaining all the social media channels for both Midshire and Desktop Monster brands. Additional roles will include event support, content writing, sponsorship support and in-house printing.
