
Office sales and technology services provider Midshire Group has achieved a spot on the list of Top 100 Value Added Resellers (VARs) in the UK 2016.
The Top 100 VARs is an annual report of the most successful and well deserved UK resellers, with the featured businesses this year boasting a combined revenue of £12.72bn, compared with last year’s £11.08bn. The report is created by Channel Reseller Network (CRN), and posted on their website Channel Web, an online news and analysis platform for the UK technology industry.
Midshire has entered the VARs at 94 on the list for its positive and consistent growth in recent years.
Midshire’s Managing Director Phil Powell has said “We are extremely delighted and proud to be featured on CRN’s Top 100 Value Added Resellers list – VARs.
“I started this company in 1990 with two other people, we have now expanded to have four regional offices and over 250 employees, so what we’ve achieved is really quite remarkable.”
Midshire’s primary offering consists of printers and photocopiers on a managed print service. More recently the company has expanded its product portfolio to include a comprehensive range of telecommunication systems and a complete range of IT services and solutions; even developing its own in-house hosted desktop, Desktop Monster.
Julian Stafford, The Managing Director of Midshire’s Stockport office also received an A-list profile from CRN last month. The A-list is an annual publication that acknowledges a business leader’s contributions to their industry or sector.
Achieving a spot on the Top 100 VARs list comes at the end of an amazing year for Midshire. The company was named Best Office Technology Supplier in the UK by Corporate Vision, an online business platform that provides news and comment on the latest business issues of the day.
The company also recently won Best SME Support at the Talk of Manchester Awards, whilst Midshire’s hosted desktop product, Desktop Monster, won Best Technology Product.
