Industry leading, office technology sales and service provider Midshire, has launched the first in a series of customer video case studies featuring Welsh customer, St Cyres High School, filmed on-site during a working school day.
Working with MPS partner Lexmark UK, the film demonstrates how Midshire have implemented a bespoke managed print service for the school exploring in detail the equipment supplied, how it used by the schools’ 1,100 students and 200+ staff and how the solution is monitored by PaperCut Software – a reporting system that gives the school the ability to manage the whole setup and assign costs accurately.
Midshire installed a wide range of devices from Lexmark desktop printers, Sharp photocopiers and a RISO ComColor printer in the reprographics department, providing extensive training and support as well as on-going service and maintenance.
Nicola Rees, Director of School Resources at St Cyres explains why they chose to partner with Midshire:
“Midshire invested a lot of time in the school, they do a lot of preventative maintenance. The old supplier didn’t understand our needs, didn’t know where we were going. Midshire have been with us every step of the way.
“Midshire have saved us a lot of time, as they know what our needs are, they’ve provided us with good robust machines that don’t breakdown. It’s the personal touch I like, I find that very important.”
Ian Stark, ICT Manager at St Cyres explains the levels of support provided by Midshire:
“If we have any issues with the printers we can easily call and have an engineer out on the same day or we can access support over the telephone.”
Midshire currently supports over 4,000 school printing machines across the UK.
Emyr Lewis, Midshire Account Manager said:
“I am delighted that we have been able to create a video with St Cyres. Print solutions are a key part of any school’s day-to-day requirement, and the bespoke managed print solution Midshire hascreated works really well for St Cyres.”
The video series will be rolled out over the next 18 months, and will show the wide range of customers and environments, which Midshire supports with managed print services.
Established in 1990, the Midshire Group now has four regional offices across the UK and is a full service office technology provider, specialising in printers and photocopiers, telecommunications and IT products and services.
