Stockport is hosting its 2nd Meet the Buyer event on Tuesday 12th March from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm.
The event will take place in the Ballroom, Stockport Town Hall, Edward Street, Stockport, SK1 3XE
and is free to attend.
Meet the Buyer is designed to give businesses the opportunity to meet buying teams from some of Stockport’s largest companies with a view to achieving new contracts.
The event matches the goods and services offered by businesses with the current buying requirements of participating purchasing teams, to ensure supplier businesses meet with companies actively seeking the service they offer, making the ‘pitching’ process more efficient.
Businesses can request a 10 minute pitching opportunity with a buyer acting on behalf of a public sector organisation or private sector business. All appointments will need to be pre-booked and the deadline for returning booking forms is Thursday 7th February 2013 (5pm)

Buyers are looking for a variety of products/services ranging from accountants, local food producers, decorators and electricians through to large-scale commercial contracts. Businesses need to check that they are able to supply the goods/services required by the buying teams and then request an appointment.
