MBRE have completed a hattrick of lettings at Southfield 25 in Bredbury to trade occupiers.
Motor Parts Direct, J Rotheram and Toolstation have taken space at the new development in Bredbury, which comprises 10 purpose build trade and warehouse units.
Motor Parts Direct are the UK’s largest independent motor factor and provide trade and distribution of car parts and accessories. The store will mark their 128th site as part of their expansion into the North.
Long-established high quality stone worktop, table and fireplace manufacturers J Rotheram will be opening their Bredbury branch as one of their first trade distribution branches in a nationwide roll out. Multiple branches are to be opened to support their manufacturing headquarters in York where they have been trading for over 100 years.
Multi-channel tools, accessories and building specialist Toolstation, will open their 401st branch today servicing the local trade and home improvement market seven days a week. The new branch will initially create six new jobs.
The estate is now 80% let with existing tenants Screwfix, Brewers, and Northgate. Michael Blackshaw, of agents MBRE, said:
Southfield 25 is extremely well located just off J25 of the M60. Recent success is no surprise due to the under supply of good quality trade and warehouse accommodation within the area. We are delighted to have secured seven national trade operators at the estate and in view of the strong level of interest for remaining units, we anticipate to be fully let in the not too distant future. Due to the success of the scheme plans already in place to a deliver a third phase of development to the estate.”
On behalf of a private client, MBRE are also pleased to report that they had recently let a 14,618 square feet trade warehouse to national kitchen trade operator Howdens. Located on Melford Road adjacent to the Park & Ride in Hazel Grove, the branch will serve the local area and also create a number of new jobs within the area. Howdens now have over 700 depots nationwide
