The Mayor of Stockport, Cllr Suzanne Wyatt, is hosting a Charity Ball in support of Stockport Food Network, which supports food banks throughout the borough.
The The Ball will take place in the Ballroom at Stockport Town Hall on Friday 4th April. The evening will include a 3-course meal, along with some fabulous live entertainment and an auction. It promises to be an enjoyable evening whilst raising funds for this borough wide charity. Local businesses are engaging with the event and have already bought tickets, been generous with sponsorship and donated prizes for the auction.
Tickets are priced at just £55.00 per person and include fizz on arrival.
Funds raised on the night will be used to support Stockport Food Network, the Mayor’s chosen charity that she has been supporting throughout her tenure: while Stockport is seen as a hugely successful town supporting a relatively affluent population, there are hidden pockets of deprivation where many families have to choose between food, clothing and heating.
