Mastercall led collaboration secures funding award

A collaboration between Stockport-based Mastercall and its partners, Advanced and Dignio, have secured Digital PODAC funding for their remote monitoring service.

The Digital PODAC programme being developed by NHS Digital and NHSX aims to improve digitisation and productivity using technology across the pharmacy, optometry, dentistry, ambulance and community (PODAC) sectors.

The funding provided to Mastercall and its partner organisations will enable them to streamline their remote monitoring service and enhance its clinical efficiency for patients.

Jonathan Ritchie, Mastercall’s Director of IT & Digital Innovation, commented:

“We are delighted be awarded PODAC funding from the NHSX team – this will interop two of our core healthcare solutions working with Advanced and DIGNIO and ensure a streamlined approach to remote monitoring, enhancing clinical efficiency to support our patients via an innovative collaborative approach working with our digital partners.”

Dr Ewa Truchanowicz, UK Managing Director of Norway-based Dignio, said:

Integration with Adastra will help Dignio further improve the experience of frontline clinical care staff using our solution. Mastercall and Dignio’s wider partnership and Technology Enhanced Living (TEL) service has already earnt recognition from the wider healthcare industry, including a recent shortlisting at the 2022 HSJ Awards.
