The October edition of the Manchester Monitor includes a quarterly feature on the patterns of apprenticeships in Greater Manchester (GM). It highlights that the number of apprenticeships in GM has more than doubled since 2008/09, while the number of apprentices over the age of 25 has increased by over 400% in the same timeframe.
The Monitor also provides commentary on continuing improvements in the labour market, as well as analysis of results from the Chamber of Commerce’s latest Quarterly Economic Survey of manufacturing and service sector companies in the conurbation.
