Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has announced the appointment of Marie Joyce as the airport operator’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Marie brings extensive financial leadership experience across complex, operational businesses. She joins MAG from sustainable infrastructure business NTR, where she held the positions of CFO and Chief Operating Officer (COO), leading finance and commercial strategy across large-scale projects. Marie will begin her role in January 2026.
Since 2020, she has also served as a Non-Executive Director at daa, the operator of Dublin and Cork airports, providing strategic oversight and governance, focused on long-term asset investment.
MAG is the UK’s largest airports group, which owns and operates Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports alongside digital travel services business CAVU. The Group is the largest private investor in transport infrastructure outside of London and is set to invest £2.5bn in its airports over the next five years. MAG serves more than 65m passengers a year and supports more than 40,000 jobs across its sites.
Marie takes on her new role at MAG from Jan Bramall, who is leaving the Group after seven years to pursue new opportunities.
MAG CEO Ken O’Toole said:
“We are delighted to welcome Marie to MAG as our new Chief Financial Officer.
“Her expertise in finance, combined with experience in aviation and major infrastructure, will support our Group’s plans for transformation and growth as we invest more £2.5bn in our airports over the next five years.
“Marie will play a key role in ensuring that our investments create the greatest value by enhancing the experience of our passengers, driving sustainability initiatives and ensuring that our business continues to make a significant contribution to our regional and national economy.
“I would like to thank Jan for her hard work and commitment during her time at MAG – playing a critical role in our recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and the delivery of our transformation programmes. I wish her every success in her new role.”
Marie Joyce said:
“I am pleased and excited to join MAG at such an important time for the Group and for UK aviation.
“MAG is an ambitious Group whose priorities align closely with my own focus on disciplined growth, excellent passenger experiences and leading high-performing organisations.
“I look forward to working with the rest of the executive team and every colleague across MAG to drive our future success.”
