Laing O’Rourke and Manchester Airports Group (MAG) are hosting a Meet the Buyer event to engage with local businesses and inform them about how to take advantage of opportunities on the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme.

TIME: Two sessions: 9.00am-12noon or 1.00pm-4.00pm
Having recently won the first stage of a two-stage Design and Construction contract for the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme, Laing O’Rourke is now looking for supply chain partners from the local area.
The Manchester Airport Transformation Programme is a series of 60 enhancements that will provide users of the airport every year with facilities that combine a contemporary look and feel with state-of-the-art services.
The airport will remain fully operational throughout phase one works, which are scheduled to conclude in 2021.
Careful planning of critical elements of work will result in minimal disruption to passengers, airlines and the local community. Laing O’Rourke will be looking to support 150 apprentices through the project alongside the other opportunities for the local supply chain.
