Manchester Airport links up with Italian holidays specialists

Italian holiday firm Sardatur Holidays is set to launch from Manchester Airport from July 9 with weekly flights to Sardinia

Sardatur Holidays is set to launch from Manchester Airport for summer 2016.

From July 9, the independent tour operator specialising in holiday travel to Italy will introduce weekly flights from Manchester to the Italian island of Sardinia.

Patrick Alexander, head of marketing at Manchester Airport, said: “I’m delighted to be able to welcome Sardatur Holidays to Manchester Airport.

“We are confident that its fantastic packages to Sardinia will prove hugely popular with the 22 million people in our catchment area.”

Founded in 1987, Sardatur Holidays provides a personalised service, offering a broad range of the finest and most attractive hotels and resorts in some of the most beautiful parts of Italy.

Holidays will be available from July 9 until September 17. Flights depart Manchester Airport on Saturdays at 8am and arrive back from Sardinia at 3.10pm.
