Stockport businesses across all industries are invited to develop their workforce with management masterclasses, following additional funding being secured for the programme.
Training provider Instep UK, with the backing of Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), is expanding its workforce development offer to all sectors across the city-region. Previously, the programme that formed part of GMCA’s Skills for Growth scheme focused only on those working in the manufacturing sector, but will now be available to individuals from all industries.
The two-day Management Masterclasses allows businesses to select key leadership skills they want teams to explore, with themes available including enhancing performance of teams, or building resilience, and content that can be tailored to suit business needs.
Training will focus on giving managers and aspiring managers the knowledge they need to move towards a person-led way of working. The previous scheme for the manufacturing sector also saw technical training provided to staff to share the tools and techniques needed for improved activity, such as mapping production processes, problem solving and making workplaces more efficient.
Further information about the programme and details of how to sign up for the Management Masterclasses can be obtained by contacting Instep UK’s team in Greater Manchester.
