Aqua Design promotes Made in Stockport

Stockport creative agency Aqua Design Group is promoting Made in Stockport, a badge that would be available for businesses across the town to digitally download and stickers to put on products. 

There is much industrial and creative output happening across the town in the form of small manufacture, classic car restoration, bakers, restaurants, architects and builders, large scale food manufacture, artisans and artists, music recording studio, solo artists and bands.

A Made in Stockport badge would help businesses raise the profile of their business services with and show pride in that they are are made in the borough. Such a badge could be shared on social media, as a watermark on businesses products and services,  to showcase the variety of products and services born in Stockport.

Dylan Moore, owner of Aqua Design Group said: 

“Like the Champagne region of France being famous for sparkling wine or Melton Mowbray being famous for a particular style of pork pie, a made in Stockport badge establishes where that item was made.”

Aqua Design Group identified some possible designs, referring to the varied architectural gems across the town. Be it the Viaduct which can be seen across Stockport town centre, a Hat for the towns history of hat making and of course Stockport County Football Club ‘The Hatters’, historic Indoor Market Hall, the art deco exterior of the Plaza Theatre and the Town Hall.
