The Made in Stockport Awards has announced it will support Walthew House through its 2022 awards with a hamper giveaway compeition.
Walthew House is a locally based charity that works with people and organisations in the community to provide practical and emotional support for people with a sight or hearing loss.
Organised by Stockport creative Aqua Design Group the awards were started in wake of the coronavirus pandemic to support small traders and makers in the borough. The awards aim to highlight the hidden gems of the town along with creative businesses that are doing their bit to produce goods and services locally.
To back the charity ahead of the 2022 awards, the Made in Stockport Awards have organised a charity business card draw, to win a hamper of goods donated by local makers, artisans and creatives representing the best products Stockport has to offer. To donate something from your business, contact Aqua Design Group to find out more.
The first Made in Stockport Awards this year recognised Stockport businesses across nine categories, with the winners decided by a public poll, which attracted over 5,000 votes. Winning businesses were announced online on 22nd October, after a month of voting – a full list of winners and nominees can be found on the Aqua Design Group website.
