
On Thursday 17th May Stockport’s Central Library will be hosting a Mad Hatters Tea Party to mark IDAHOT (International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia)
The IDAHOT event is FREE to attend and will be held between 13:30pm -16:30pm has been organised by Stockport Libraries with support from Stockport’s PLUS (People Like Us group) and Nexus. The tea party will comprise a Rainbow cream tea, fun book activities, raffle, quizzes and to round it all off a rousing game of bingo.
The wearing of hats is strongly encouraged and all are welcome.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party celebrates IDAHOT
Janet Wood, Head of Library Services at Stockport Council said:
“We are delighted to host this event in conjunction with PLUS and NEXUS. Nobody should suffer discrimination because of their sexuality and we as a council are committed to tackling prejudice and hate crime by raising awareness amongst the community and celebrating sexual diversity.”
