Stockport Council has confirmed a Primary Authority agreement with a local motor company that will benefit customers.
Dace Motor Company Ltd is the latest Stockport based business to sign a Primary Authority agreement with the Council’s Trading Standards team, which promotes compliance with consumer legislation.
Councillor Martin Candler, Stockport Council’s Executive Member for Communities and Sustainability, presented the certificate to Dace Motor Company. He said:
“Primary Authority agreements are good for the Council, the business and local consumers who will expect this company to demonstrate high standards of compliance with consumer legislation. Stockport has many excellent local businesses and I am glad that we are able to recognise this whilst continuing to drive up standards of business compliance.”

Managing Director of Dace Motors, Steve Dace, said:
