The calendar has been put together by Life Leisure staff from head office and all of the Life Leisure centres across town, with several members also taking part to raise money for the David Hopkins Foundation.
The team takes centre stage as the stars of the calendar, providing a different theme and a motivational quote for each month, from the month of love in February to September’s Big Stockport 10k run.
All money raised from calendar sales will be donated to Life Leisure’s David Hopkins Foundation and will provide funding for sports clubs, individuals and sporting causes across Stockport.
The aim of the foundation’s fund raising is to encourage people to become more active and participate in sport or physical activity.
Life Leisure’s marketing and communications manager, Laura Mylotte, said: “I want to thank the team at Life Leisure. We run charity events, such as this, throughout the year with staff and members always ready to give their time to raise funds.
“The calendars are available in all of our centres, at just £3 each they are the perfect stocking filler, but with a limited quantity available, they won’t be around for long.”
The David Hopkins Foundation accepts applications by individuals living in Stockport or registered charities or clubs that are based in the Stockport borough for amounts up to £500 for individuals and £1,000 for clubs.
