It’s the final week for submitting Stockport Business Awards entries and Marketing Stockport member’s Leemic are once again backing the award for Most Promising Young Business, recognising an up and coming business that has already begun to achieve real success in its early years.
The award was won last year by The Indian Tiffin Room, who were also named amongst TripAdvisor’s top 10 places to eat in Greater Manchester in 2014.

Nick Pendebury, Director at Leemic, said:
“As one of Stockport’s longest serving businesses, we are always excited to see new companies starting in the borough. Over the past 12 months we have seen many new companies formed and those with the courage to do needs commending.
“Furthermore, anybody who can demonstrate their new start up becoming a success needs huge congratulations. We are acutely aware of the hard work, determination and dedication it takes to start a business from a scratch.
“As last year’s winners (Indian Tiffin Room) demonstrated, if you want to achieve recognition for success early in the life of your business then this category is definitely for you!”
Entrants of this category will be asked to explain the background to the business, the business vision and the research that was undertaken when the business was in development. They will also have to demonstrate how the business has performed so far and what its future projections are.
Entries are open until 24th June and winners will be announced at the ceremony at Stockport Town Hall on 15th October.
Entry criteria and entry forms are available on the Stockport Business Awards website www.stockportbusinessawards.co.uk
