Below is a list of the latest roadworks in Stockport affecting Heaton Norris, Portwood, Great Moor & Marple.
- Contractors working on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester will be carrying out work on the traffic signals on Tiviot Way in Heaton Norris approximately 100m north of Water Street. These works will require the use of two-way signals, which are scheduled to take place on 18th and 19th February, from 9.30am and 3.30pm.
- Transport for Greater Manchester will also be carrying out works on Great Portwood Street in Portwood close to the junction with Portwood Roundabout. These works will require a lane closure, which are scheduled to take place on Sunday 23rd February 2014, from 1.00pm and 3.00pm.
- Network Rail will be carrying out level crossing maintenance at Woodsmoor level crossing on Woodsmoor Lane in Great Moor, between the junctions of Chiltern Drive & Belgrave Crescent. These works will require a full road closure of Woodsmoor Lane overnight from 11.00pm on 22nd February to 6.00am on Sunday 23rd February.
- Stockport Council will be carrying out carriageway repairs on Cote Green Road between the junctions with Glossop Road and Cote Green Lane. The work is due to start on 17th February 2014 and should last for approximately two weeks. Unfortunately to carry out this work it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements along this stretch as highlighted above with a temporary prohibition of driving (road closure) for through traffic between 9.00am and 3.30pm.
