LATEST – ROADWORKS UPDATE FOR STOCKPORT

Below is a list of the latest roadworks in Stockport:

Electricity North West will be carrying out resurfacing work on Banks Lane in Offerton, at the approach to the junction of Dialstone Lane and Hempshaw Lane. These works require the use of a road closure on Banks Lane and will take place between Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August. The following diversions will be in place: From Hall Lane – Offerton Lane and Hempshaw Lane. From Dialstone Lane – Hempshaw Lane, St Mary’s Way and Hall Street. From Hempshaw Lane – Dialstone Lane, Hillcrest Road and Offerton Lane or via Dialstone Lane, Nangreave Road and Lowndes Lane.

United Utilities are carrying out sewer repair work on Belmont Way in Heaton Norris, close to the roundabout at the junction with Lancashire Hill, Tiviot Way, Sandy Lane and Manchester Road. These works require the use of a temporary one-way system on Belmont Way for traffic coming from Wellington Road North and closing the road for traffic approaching from the roundabout. The works are due to be completed by 9th August. Diversions are in place via Lancashire Hill, Great Egerton Street, Heaton Lane and Wellington Road North.United Utilities will be carrying out sewer repairs on Bramhall Lane South, Bramhall, outside number 163, between the junction with Damery Road and Carrwood Road. These works require the use of two-way signals and works will take place between 5th and 10th August.
