Department store, John Lewis, has been granted the Royal Warrant of Appointment as His Majesty King Charles III’s supplier of Household Goods and Services.
The Royal Warrant is a mark of recognition to companies who have regularly supplied the Royal Household for at least five years.
The awarding of The King’s Warrant to the retailer in December 2024 follows that granted by Her late Majesty The Queen to John Lewis stores in Reading and on London’s Oxford Street. Waitrose, the supermarket chain that is also part of the John Lewis Partnership, was also granted a Royal Warrant in May 2024 as Grocers and Wine & Spirit Merchants.
The announcement also reflects John Lewis’ ongoing commitment to supporting its local communities, whilst also championing high environmental standards.
Peter Ruis, Executive Director of John Lewis, said:
“It’s a proud moment to be recognised by His Majesty with his Royal Warrant. For 160 years, we’ve been focused on offering excellent customer service and the highest quality products, and the Royal Warrant is testament to the hard work of Partners across John Lewis and our suppliers.”
