John Lewis Cheadle is hosting a celebration of the Stockport County FC’s historic League Two trophy win and promotion.
On 22nd June form 10am to 4pm, the Hatters will be taking over the store with a range of events, activities and complimentary fizz throughout the store.
In the link building, the EFL League Two Champions Trophy will be on display and give fans the chance to capture a photo with the trophy. Other activities include speed cage football, a kids treasure hunt, a charity raffle, as well as special guests, club president Steve Bellis and iconic club mascot, Vernon Bear.
Elsewhere in the store, there will be music from DJ Simon George, face painting, food and wine tastings from Waitrose and a complimentary cushion cover making with Herbert Parkinson. The first floor will host beauty masterclasses and fashion style talks, while Google home tech, Samsung Gaming and fitness demos from Peloton and Therabody will take place downstairs in the basement.
Events at John Lewis will also help raise funds for the Stockport County Community Trust, the club’s charitable arm which is currently raising funds to ensure all children in Stockport can have a PE kit and not miss out on taking part in sport in school.
