As we approach a new decade in business, the IoD is looking for the region’s top business leaders to step forward for the IoD North West Director of the Year Awards 2020.
Last year, the awards celebrated the diverse achievements of entrepreneurial and inspiring business leaders from across the North West such as Stockport based Donald Moore of employee-owned Rowlinson Knitwear who scooped both the Corporate Social Responsibility and Small-Medium Business Director of the Year awards as well as James Timpson OBE of Wythenshawe-based Timpson Group, who was awarded with the Family Business Director of the Year Award.
Taking place in Manchester next year on 14 May, the prestigious awards, in partnership with Kuits Solicitors, will celebrate the incredible achievements of the North West’s men and women who are achieving great things in the region, as well as on the national and international stage.
With categories including Director of the Year – Young, Director of the Year – Family, which is sponsored this year by Crowe, and Director of the Year – Non-Executive which is sponsored by RSM, the awards recognise the successes of the diverse commercial landscape which is driving our local economy and beyond.
Applications opened this week and are easy to submit online at IoD Awards until 17 January. The simplified and time efficient nominations process is explained in an easy to follow video.
Claire Ebrey Regional Director for the North West and Isle of Man said:
“Whether you are the leader of a start-up or the director of an established global corporation, the IoD awards are a great way to shout up about your successes over the past 12 months. With businesses entering from sectors including tech, banking, healthcare, hospitality, construction and more they really do shine a light on those directors who are making a difference.”
