A Stockport based Insurance Brokers, who broadened it’s offering to include healthcare, is in excellent health and ahead of target.
Since launching 18 months ago, C&C Healthcare, part of C&C Insurance Brokers Limited, have achieved £2.5 million gross written premium for its health products and Group Risk division.
Malcolm Cooke, managing director of C&C, attributes the division’s success to his two fellow directors who he describes as “two of the UK’s most experienced healthcare specialists”.
Carmen Lowe and Paul Lewis, who between them have over 45 years of experience in the Healthcare industry, joined C&C to bring a new specialism to the established insurance broking business and launched C&C Healthcare in Sept 2014.
C&C’s latest venture gives existing and new clients access to health protection policies including private medical insurance, cash plans, dental insurance, health screens and occupational health products.
Carmen commented “With the increasing pressure on the NHS and excessive waiting times for treatment, employers are focusing on protecting the health and wellbeing of their workforce. C&C Healthcare has entered the market at an ideal time to meet employer demand, enabling us to grow the business and surpass expectations.”
Alongside the healthcare offering, C&C also advise on group death in service, group income protection, group critical illness and key person cover.
“Our aim is to ensure an affordable and wholly appropriate option is available for all businesses and individuals”, said Malcolm.
