Content is king !
Indeed it is. With the changes in Google and the algorithms used to rank our websites the rules have changed and as we know, we need to be creating unique and engaging content.
We may not think we have a story but most probably your businesses does have something to say – winning a contract, expansion, recruitment and innovation. There are lots of reasons to shout about whats going on in our businesses. Make it relevant, interesting and people will read it. If you are really lucky they may forward, retweet, send on or even call to discuss your product or service !
People read what interests them – don’t just sell – write something interesting and engaging about your sector, comment on something effecting your sector or throw a thought provoking piece out there to encourage comment.
For some people writing an article is out of their comfort zone or a new addition to the already busy day job but it can help your online visibility and work as part of your overall marketing efforts.
