Heald Green-based hospice charity, St Ann’s Hospice has launched an appeal for of winter clothes for its charity shops across Stockport and South Manchester.
The organisation, which has five charity shops across Stockport and further five elsewhere in South Manchester is urgently calling for people to drop off women’s, men’s and children’s clothes.
Without donations, the charity make begin running out of winter stock before the end of January, impacting the stores’ ability to raise funds to care for those facing life-limiting illnesses in Greater Manchester.
Ryan Perkins, Head of Trading – Retail at St Ann’s Hospice, said:
“Even just one item that you can donate would make such a difference. For the majority of our shops, you can simply pull up outside to drop off your donations.
“It is a tough time for many people and we need your support more now than ever. Anything that can be spared would be a great help to St Ann’s Hospice.”
Donations can be dropped off at any St Ann’s Hospice shop, from 9am to 4.30pm: store locations and opening hours can be found on the charity’s website.
The Distribution Centre in Reddish, Stockport also has a donation box that is available to drop donations off at until 8pm, ideal for those who cannot come to a store during the day.
