Stockport businesses are being invited to sponsor a hole at Supportability’s annual Golf Day, which takes place at Heaton Moor Golf Course on Friday 4th July.
Sponsorship opportunities on the day start from £100 and businesses will have the opportunity to display a company banner or logo as teams and supporters make their way around the 18-hole course.
The annual Supportability Golf Day is a major event in the charity’s fundraising calendar, and last year raised almost £23,000 to support activities at its day centre and residential lodge for children and adults with a disability in the borough.
The money raised will go a long way in enabling the people we support to live fulfilled and independent lives. It also gives carers’ the opportunity to have a break from their caring responsibilities and ensure everyone’s health and well-being is maintained. Some of the things that the money will go towards include independence skills, music, dance and yoga sessions, days out in local community, arts and crafts materials and much more.
The day’s proceedings will also include a silent auction and raffle, and donations of prizes are welcomed, with items such as household electrics, experiences and events tickets, homewares and golfing items among the prizes that could be donated to help raise funds for Supportability.
To express an interest in sponsoring a hole at the Supportability Golf Day, or to make a donation of a raffle of silent auction prize, contact the charity’s Fundraising team for further information.
