HMRC is hosting upcoming webinars to help businesses ensure that they don’t fall foul of National Minimum Wage regulations when running salary sacrifice schemes.
For businesses running salary sacrifice schemes, if the scheme is not managed correctly, it could lead to National Minimum Wage (NMW) underpayments and costly compliance issues.
Designed for employers, accountants and agents, practical webinars are led by HMRC’s NMW team and will help attendees understand the rules around salary sacrifice, and how to stay compliant. Webinar content will include:
- How salary sacrifice affects NMW calculations
- Common payroll mistakes and how to avoid them
- What to do if an underpayment occurs.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions live to NMW specialists.
