An event next month will help Stockport businesses to reach new overseas markets.
The South Manchester International Trade Forum, a partnership between Stockport Council, UKTI and RBS, stage the free breakfast event in Cheadle, Stockport, on Thursday 7th March.
Businesses, large and small, will:
– Find out how international trade can benefit their business;
– Learn more about how the UKTI’s Passport to Export scheme can help them reach new markets;
– Hear how a successful case study is expanding rapidly through trading overseas;
– Network with other companies interested in international trade;
It takes place at Cheadle House De Vere, on Thursday 7th March, 8am-9.30am (light buffet breakfast provided). The event is free to attend but pre-booking is required by emailing econdev@stockport.gov.uk or phoning 0161 474 3734.
Councillor Iain Roberts, Executive Member for Economic Development and Regeneration, said: “Evidence shows that exporting can help businesses to grow and prosper both at home and abroad. The greater the number of companies which export, the more beneficial it is to them and the Stockport and UK economy. This informative event will help businesses to reach new markets abroad.”
