
The recently completed The Woodlands retirement community in Heaton Mersey has been named Seniors Housing Scheme of the Year at the HealthInvestor Seniors Housing Awards 2022.
The developers behind the scheme, Adlington Retirement Living, were also named Seniors Housing Developer of the Year.
The family owned and run business was recognised as the best in its sector, having now launched 14 successful Independent Retirement Communities, with more than 850 homeowners. Recently opened communities include The Woodlands in Heaton Mersey, and Jacobs Gate in Sheffield, with eight more Adlington Retirement Living communities are to open in the next two years.
The HealthInvester Seniors Housing Awards, celebrate excellence in seniors housing, one of the fastest growing sub-sectors of real estate. This year’s awards attracted a record number of entries and the winners were announced on Thursday 8 September at a Gala Dinner at the Park Plaza in London.
