After the all the ice buckets this summer, fancy the latest charity challenges at some great Manchester landmarks?
Seashell Trust, a Cheadle Hulme charity for some of the most profoundly disabled young people in the country, wants you to face the fear of heights next to raise money for its students.
Either abseil 170ft down the Bell Tower at the Trafford Centre or zip wire slide across the Manchester Ship Canal from the top of the Imperial War Museum North.
Seashell Trust fundraiser Wendy Bray has already braved the zip wire.
Wendy, from, Hollinwood Road, Disley, took on the personal challenge to celebrate her 40th birthday. She said: “I asked all my family and friends for gifts to the appeal in lieu of presents.”
