HATTON’S STOCKPORT FITNESS CLUB IN DOUBLE CELEBRATION

Metro Fitness, the Merseyway-based health club in Stockport, has a double celebration on its hands this month. As well as marking the club’s first birthday, the first Metro Fitness site has been shortlisted in the ‘Members Health Club Awards’ – a prestigious competition created in partnership with industry leading publication, Health Club Management.

George Stylianou, Managing Director said,

“We are delighted to have been nominated by our members for a national award.  It’s been a great year for us – we have benefitted from month on month membership growth throughout 2013 and continue to go from strength to strength.  There is no doubt that one of the primary sources of new members has come from our current members who have introduced us to their friends and family.  Receiving news that our members have voted us to be one of the leading clubs in the country really is a great accolade for us and we are very proud of such an achievement.”

The award scheme measures the quality of facilities, customer service and value for money provided by clubs by asking members to rate them by completing an online questionnaire. Over 40,000 gym members participated in the competition.

“Belonging to a good health club is a rewarding experience, only 170 clubs across the UK have reached the shortlisted stage of our competition and every single one of them should be extremely proud of that fact”.

The variety and frequency of exercise classes and the excellent facilities helps to ensure the popular ‘budget’ gym stands out from its competitors.
