Harvey Nichols, the global fashion retailer, is launching “Harvey’s Angels”, a Christmas shopping experience dedicated to raising money for the UK charity, Smart Works.
Over four days, from Thursday 29th November to Sunday 2nd December, *10% of all purchases made at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge and online using the code ‘HNangels’ will go to Smart Works.
Smart Works, whose Greater Manchester HQ is based in Stockport, gives women the clothing, self-belief and practical tools they require to succeed at interviews to start a new chapter of their lives.
To ensure that busy working women across the capital can get their hands on the latest party looks this season, Harvey Nichols has commissioned a heaven-sent ‘shoppable’ charity choir to take these outfits to them at their office. “Harvey’s Angels” will sing festive songs across offices in London – from Google to Este?e Lauder.
In true Harvey Nichols style, the performance will have a party-season twist. In addition to singing traditional carols, this acapella group will perform a medley of pop songs from Destiny’s Child ‘Survivor’, to Chaka Khan ‘Ain’t Nobody’.
Harvey’s Angels will be styled in the latest party-wear from brands such as Roland Mouret, Peter Pilotto, Rejina Pyo and Galvan, which can be bought directly on-the-spot from Harvey Nichol’s Instagram account, via shoppable posts.
Deb Bee, Group Marketing and Creative Director Harvey Nichols said:
“From 1850, when Anne Harvey took over our flagship Knighstbridge store from her husband, to the present day, where seven of the nine people on our company’s board are women, Harvey Nichols has always supported women in the work place. Our partnership with Smart Works is a natural extension of our values. Christmas is the fashion season, because it’s also party season. But we know that our customers are rushed off their feet.
So we have partnered with Smart Works to raise awareness of this partnership and help busy women in London find a party outfit even if they can’t take time out of work. This will be delivered in the most Christmassy way we know; with a fun, glamourous, party-song-singing, shoppable Christmas choir.”
Kate Stephens, CEO of Smart Works added:
“At Smart Works we are lucky enough to witness every day the impact that great clothes and good advice can have on a women’s life. We believe that fashion can be used as a force for good, and that is why we are thrilled to be working with Harvery Nichols on this exciting Christmas shopping experience. Every shopper at Harvery Nichols who uses the dedicated code HNangels online or in store over the next three days will be helping a women to be her best.”
*Terms and conditions apply – the code is for single use and only available at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge and for UK customers online. Promotion excludes hampers and gift cards.
