Hallidays support acquisition for Selden Research

Stockport based business and financial advisors Hallidays have supported Selden Research Limited’s third acquisition in five years.

Selden Research Limited, an independent family company more familiarly known as ‘Selden’, have acquired Premiere Products completing their third business acquisition in five years.

Selden, a well-respected manufacturer and the UK’s largest independent supplier of professional cleaning products, confirmed their latest purchase of Premiere Products from James Briggs (Holdings) Limited will further increase their UK market share and provide access to new export markets in the Middle and Far East.

The sale was completed for Selden with the support of their Corporate Finance Advisors, Hallidays Group Ltd (Stockport), specifically during the due diligence process.

Selden Director, Mark Woodhead, said: “Hallidays were fundamental in steering us through an intensive due diligence process during the strategic acquisition of Premiere Products. Whilst Selden was already well established in our industry, having acquired Jeyes Professional in 2012, we are delighted about the acquisition of Premiere Products to enable us to further increase market share.”

The Hallidays Corporate Finance team consisted of Paul Whitney, Corporate Finance Director and Michael Berger, Corporate Finance Executive. The team worked closely with Corporate Lawyers, SAS Daniels, to ensure the deal could be completed quickly and with peace of mind for Selden.
