The inclusive culture at Hallidays has led to the whole team nominating good causes in Stockport before finally choosing Beechwood Cancer Care as their chosen charity for 2015/16.
Hallidays’ payroll manager Nicola Jackson has already kicked off the fund-raising events: next month 15 Hallidays team members will be travelling to Wales to take up the Charity Zipline Challenge and many more activities will be taking place over the next 12 months which will be announced on the news section of the Hallidays website.
From their centre in Stockport, Beechwood Cancer Care Centre first began offering cancer care back in 1990 and since then their centre has helped many people, providing support to those living with cancer and other life limiting illness, as well as their relatives and carers. Visitors to the centre can choose from a range of support, including: One to one counselling sessions, Complementary therapies and Group sessions with other patients/carers
Hallidays fundraising efforts in the past few years have made a big difference to other local charities, last year the team raised £5,000 and contributed 185 hours for Beacon Counselling and the previous year £6,000 over 1197 hours for the Seashell Trust. We hope the team can continue their great fundraising record as they support Beechwood over the next 12 months. http://www.hallidays.co.uk/about/why-hallidays
