Stockport based Hallidays are living their new brand as ‘more than just accountants’ and provided their client James Pugh & Sons Ltd with HR services.
James Pugh & Sons, providers of high quality transport, storage and distribution, had a growing team of 20+ people and needed a HR supplier who would be a true business partner and selected Hallidays Ethical Resourcing team (HER).
Managing Director Richard Pugh found he was spending too much time on HR matters at the expense of the business after experiencing poor service elsewhere. By developing a close business partnership with HER he became confident to take ideas forward. A real in-depth knowledge of the haulage industry, coupled with Richard always speaking direct to his personal adviser and HER’s ideas have helped Richard improve overall communications with his team, address difficult issues and given him guidance with disputes.
