Nigel Bennett, Hallidays MD said:
“Our team are delighted to be nominated for this award. It came as a complete surprise when we heard! We ripped up the time-sheets in 2006, and introduced flexible working to enable our team to enjoy a good work-life balance alongside providing a great service to our clients because we know that a happy team creates happy clients. The team are fantastic at coming up with new ideas to enhance our service and the way we work and have fun together.”
For over 10 years’ Hallidays have conducted client surveys and are proud that their Client Happiness Scores are regularly around 95%. Over the years they have taken action to tailor and evolve their business to meet the changing needs of their clients.
Halliday are particularly proud of their coaching culture and invest in growing and supporting their team alongside growing and supporting their clients. While many companies are challenged by an under-representation of women in senior roles, half of the Directors at Hallidays are female and over half of their team. Using DISC profiling they ensure they recruit people with the right attitude from a wide range of backgrounds.
The company also has a strong history of raising money for local charities whilst challenging themselves and having fun. The team recently raised over £1,200 by completing the ‘Tough Mudder’ challenge at Cholmondeley Castle on in September to support the Weekend Day Centre to brighten the lives of local people with dementia and their families. Previous fundraisers have included abseiling, zipwires and a female boxing competition.
The recent launch of Hallidays Instagram shows a lighter side to how they support their team and clients to grow.
