
Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Park is offering tours of Concorde for £5 with all day parking at just £2, a family day out that will really take off.
During the February half term holidays, the Runway Visitor Park is giving visitors the opportunity to tour the iconic British Airways Concorde for just £5 on Wednesday 14 and 21 of February.
The Concorde Short Tour gives visitors the opportunity to sit in the luxurious leather seats where royalty and celebrities once sat, whilst hearing about what it was to fly on this iconic aircraft. Visitors will also walk beneath the Concorde’s wings as they take in the wonder that is Alpha Charlie. The tour lasts 20 minutes so is perfect for families to enjoy together.

For those not touring the Concorde, the park enables aviation enthusiasts to watch take offs and landings of the hundreds of daily flights at the airport from its elevated viewing spots. There is also a play area, restaurant and gift shop to peruse, and with parking onsite for just £2 on Midweek Madness days it’s the perfect day out for all the family.
The Park’s other aircraft are Nimrod, the DC-10, Trident and the AVRO RJX are also available to tour when booked in advance.
Over a quarter of a million people visit the Runway Visitor Park every year. The park is situated at the end of Manchester Airport’s two runways and gives visitors unrivalled views of departing and arriving aircraft. It is home to five retired aircraft; the Concorde G-BOAC, RAF Nimrod, the DC-10, Trident and the AVRO RJX. Charges apply to aircraft tours.
The park is open from 8am-4pm from November through to February, from 8am-6pm March through to May, from 8am-8pm June through to August, and 8am-6pm in September and October.
