A one-day Intensive Workshop – 20th April 2016
Following the event on 15th March, Stockport Council and the Federation of Small Businesses will be a holding a 1-day intensive workshop
Led by industry experts, covering all the information, skills and practical support a business needs to qualify and tender for contracts with confidence, you will learn what a good approach looks like, help you avoid common mistakes and show you how to find and register for this kind of work.

Two half day training workshops, one focusing on public sector contracting and one on bidding for business within the private sector. Choose to attend one or both, held over one day.
Private Sector – Delivered by Emma Jaques, of Onto The Page
Emma is an experienced, award-winning tender writer, who will deliver this session with the aim to help you to better understand and navigate your way through the tendering process. In this session you’ll be given real insight, from a procurement expert, into what does and doesn’t make a credible bid for contracts.
Public Sector
Delivered by the procurement team from Stockport Council, this session will focus on what the people devising and deciding on bids are looking for. This session will be ‘hands on’ taking you through a standard tender document utilising the Council’s e-tendering software ‘The Chest’ and will also go into more detail about where to look for public sector contracts that could be of interest to your business.
