The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) continue to support businesses throughout Greater Manchester, aiding a company to secure a six figure funding deal with asset finance partner Lombard.
The funding has enabled Bolton NDT & Inspection Ltd (BNDT) to purchase the latest high tech machinery for its new radiographic inspection department which it established in June of this year.
Gavin Elmes, Relationship Manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland added:
“We are pleased that we have been able to support David Batty, Managing Director of BNDT, in his efforts to get the new radiographic inspection division ready for business. The new division will enable the company to generate increased revenues as well as open it up further to opportunities for work across all divisions.
“One of our main objectives at RBS is to provide our customers with support wherever it is needed and we often work with many different parts of the bank to help our customers achieve the best results they can.”
Established in 1987, BNDT provides customers with a comprehensive range of non – destructive testing services, covering a wide variety of engineering disciplines. 2014 has been a landmark year for the company, who also completed a move to new 12,000 sq ft premises in January, to accommodate the launch and development of its new radiographic division. BNDT currently employs 26 people across its three departments which include radiography, non-destructive testing and welding consultancy and inspection.
David Batty, Managing Director of Bolton NDT & Inspection Ltd said:
“We decided to launch a radiographic inspection service primarily to enhance our existing offering and provide clients with an all-round complete service which in turn would enable us to diversify, gain more market share and grow the business.
“Securing funding for the new machinery has been a crucial element of this process and I cannot thank Gavin from RBS enough for his support and introduction to the team at Lombard. Their backing has enabled us to acquire the necessary equipment needed to get the department up and running.”
