Employers from across the city-region are being invited to take part in a series of webinars aimed at promoting mental health in Greater Manchester.
The Centre for Mental Health and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership is hosting a series of webinars helping to promote improving mental health and wellbeing in the region. The first event, held via Zoom on 29th September, 2-3pm, will focus on practical steps to improve mental health at work.
The session will be an opportunity to explore how workplaces – large and small – can promote good mental health and take steps to prevent mental ill health. Speakers will discuss evidence about what makes workplaces mentally healthy, how they can respond to people’s needs and what might be different in the wake of Covid-19. There will also be the opportunity to hear from employers that are already making a difference locally in Greater Manchester to improve mental health at work.
Confirmed speakers for the even will include:
- Andy Bell, Deputy Chief Executive, Centre for Mental Health
- Ian McArthur, Director, Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter
- Hayley Lever, CEO, GreaterSport
Spaces on the webinar are limited to 100. To register to attend for free, and learn more about the session, visit the Centre for Mental Health website.
