The GM Skills Map provides employers and learners in Stockport and across Greater Manchester with information about training courses and apprenticeships at all skills levels.
Delivered by GM Business Growth Hub on behalf of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), the platform is the most comprehensive skills directory in the region, featuring 1,700 training courses, including 450 apprenticeship programmes.
The GM Skills Map ensures that training opportunities are easy to find on one free-to-use and simple-to-access website, across sectors from marketing to finance and IT to green skills. It can also help to link businesses with hundreds of trusted education providers across Greater Manchester, including local universities and colleges
A previous version of the platform was used for companies to search and access courses under the successful Skills for Growth Programme which helped more than 20,000 individuals get skills support.
The newly relaunched GM Skills Map is now available to everyone across the 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester.
