Since winning Theo Paphitis’s Small Business Sunday competition on Twitter, Stockport based creative business Aqua Design Group have been introduced to a variety of small and large businesses from across the UK.
As the ethos of #SBS (Small Business Sunday) was to support small businesses, Aqua Design Group has been supporting fellow winners through retweets and interactions on Twitter along with their business activity with branding design, design and print for winners shortly after their win and have continued to do this as much as they can.
As a consequence of their Small Business Sunday win in 2011, Aqua Design’s business has gained over 36,000 followers across their 3 Twitter accounts, worked with fellow winners across the UK from as far North as Shetland to as far South as Brighton and produced work for small projects for Ryman Stationery.
The support given to fellow #SBS winners by Aqua Design Group was recognised recently when they were announced as the #SBS Winner of the Month for January 2017. This was announced in the December email newsletter that is sent out to all #SBS winners and involves having a permanent promotion slot on the front page of the winners website www.theopaphitissbs.com for a month.
